  1. Two people suffered what are described as minor injuries following a two car collision at Irlams o’ th’ Height this evening. One car reportedly ended up on upside down as it l had flipped onto its roof. The crash caused road closures to be put into place until the scene was processed and the vehicles could be removed from the carriageway. NPAS were called out to assist and provide operational support in locating other injured persons who may have fled the scene. A spokesman for GMP said officers were called to the East Lancs Road in Irlams o’ th’ Height at 9.35pm whereupon they found two people received minor injuries following a two vehicle collision. Roads are currently closed but are expected to be reopened once debris has been removed from the road.
