  1. At around 4.20pm on Sunday (29 July 2018) police received a report of a man wearing a balaclava and in possession of a machete in a car on Parsonage Road. Enquiries by our Specialist Operations team, Salford officers and council CCTV operators were immediately carried out and a number of armed and unarmed officers were deployed to the area.
